Miko Espanol
Bag End artist endorser Miko Espanol was born and raised in the Philippines. He started playing bass at 17 with influences such as Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius, Tribal Tech, Return to Forever, Chick Corea, Charlie Parker, Ray Brown, Eddie Gomez, and Pat Metheny. Mike relocated to Southern California where he is a performer and educator. He performs Locally in Southern California, Nationally and Internationally.
He has worked, performed and recorded with artists and groups such as New West 5, Garrett Morris, Tony White, MPG, Ron Kobayashi, Hitchhiker, Hour of Power Orchestra, Dark Sunday, Albert John, Ella May Saison, etc. MPG is Miko’s Jazz Fusion Trio. He held down the bass chair at Crystal Cathedral’s Contemporary and Latin Group appearing nationwide on Telemundo, TBS and Enlace.
