West Coast bassist Rod MacDowell uses the Bag End PQ10BX-D, IPS18E-D, S15X-B, and S15-B.

Rod plays R&B, Jazz, Funk, Celtic.

He has studied with Mr. Ric Fierabracci, Myron Dove and Scott Clay along with formal music training.

He has recorded and played with Northern California bands; Eddie Paris, Rich and Strange, The Metro Jets, Wayne Sloan, The Chris Patton Quartet with Peter ‘Le Fuj’ Fuji, Lunatic Fringe, The Wicked Sons, David Boswell and Illegal Download Collection.
