World Cafe Live At The Queen

d12e-daBag End Subwoofers in the Historic World Cafe Live At The Queen

World Cafe Live at the Queen is a completely refurbished three-tiered music hall dedicated to showcasing live music in an atmosphere that attracts and inspires live musicians.

Bag End D12E-DA Subwoofers were installed upstairs in the casual restaurant and bar area incorporating an intimate live music stage.

The historic building dates back to 1789, when it was “The Indian Queen Hotel”. In 1871, with new owners, the hotel was upgraded into a first-class hotel, the Clayton House. In 1916 the Clayton House becomes a 2,000 seat movie theater, closing in 1959. Talks begin in 2008, between Hal Real and his Real Entertainment Group who opened World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, to restore the Queen into a performing-arts venue. In 2011, World Cafe Live at the Queen opens it doors.
